Audi probably don’t want you suing them for any burns.

It’s very weak. Disappointing for an expensive suv and that my sisters pathfinder gets warmer.

I haven't tried ours yet, but the previous MKI heated wheel was perfect - it didn't heat-up my hands, but did keep them warm.

X5 steering wheel used to get way too toasty in random spots. Q7 is much more even and effective for me. Just wish there was a cockpit icon showing it was on, but you do get a pop up window briefly.

My E60 was pretty damn hot too after being left on for more than 30 mins. The Q7 seems to be more evenly distributed and just a constant warmth that gets to "medium" power, at best. But it gets the job done.

Hey Doc on the virtual cockpit screen if you use the scroll on the steering wheel like as if you were checking fuel efficiency there is also a screen for seeing what is turned on in your vehicle.

So I had to make a short run and tried the wheel heater - it was definitely warm, almost hot and it got there in under 2 mins.
