21" 285/40/21 on 21x9.5 ET31 22" 285/35/22 on 22x10 ET26 What that means is that the tires are the exact same width, the 22" tire is actually 3mm smaller in diameter than the 21", and the wheels are a paltry 1mm closer to the suspension. For all intents and purposes, the dimensions of these two wheel/tire combinations is identical. If you were told that they wouldn't fit on the steel suspension, you were lied to. |

We have a Black one here with the 21's in the 2-tone...personally dont like them. Cannot wait to get mine with the 22's in a few months.

I’m surprised how reasonable 22” all season tires are. Guess there’s more vehicles out there in the suv market with that size. Looking on tire rack, several good options in the 275-300 per tire range. |
Motorweek reviews are a bit too fawning for me. Trying too hard not to offend anybody, especially car makers. I prefer the British reviews which generally seem more honest. That said, I don't really disagree with any of it. RS3 is a nice ride, but not sure its 60-70k nice.
