I don't say that German cars are error free, but they seems to be undergone much more testing.
Waste is waste, cars are designed to carry stuff, period. Electronics, ride, and all that good stuff aside if I can't even store a box of kleenex, CD's, maps, sunglasses, etc. then what's the use?

Audi screwed up on this one and it is probably is causing them sales. The Japanese have a knack of taking advantage of every bit of space for storage, not wasting it like the Germans did.

Yes that's exactly what the dealer told me too, however I was stubborn In fact before my deal went through the highest discount I got from any of the SoCal dealers was about ~5% off MSRP...but somehow this dealer (supposedly ranked #1 in CA and in the West) agreed during the month end and I jumped on it the same day! Although I knew the most popular guy in this forum "SYMAWD" could beat most of the discounts I couldn't go all the way to the East to get my Q7.

Grey, did you have an XC90? We put tons of miles on ours up to the mountains 8 times this winter and were never stranded and never had constant system reboots and our model was a very early XC90. Im obviously getting out of the XC90 for a few reasons but don't think its fair to say that all XC90's perform like that. The new software has made huge improvements across the board. Just saying.

We got a First Edition bought off the dealer floor and had it for three months. Volvo/dealer took it back after it spent more than 45 days in their shop for the Sensus system. We jumped on a used TDI Q7 in Jan 2016 and the wife loves it. She drives slow so she gets great mileage. After we bought the Q7 she told me that the XC90 looks great but all the tech was overwhelming anyway for her.

Do you mind sharing the specialist contact? I was told Q7 invoice price is about 6% off MSRP. How could they give out 7.5% discount and still make some money?
