Default D.C. Area prices

If you try hard, you can get upto 6%. A few were not ready to go below 2.5%, but finally managed to get 6% on a 2018 prestige factory order.

I am planning to place a custom 2018 Q7 PP order( first time placing custom order) .... just wanted to check as to how does this work i.e. do i need to get the finance ready now or just get preapproval ,negotiate price and sign papers. Are we expected to put in some deposit?

Typically you just put a $1,000 refundable deposit down. You don't sign any papers as rates and incentives constantly change. You will though agree on price.

Thanks for the details. I assume it would take good 2 months to get it delivered in Houston if i place an order now as I would need it around end of October.

Is the deposit refunded fully if the order is cancelled even after the order freeze date?

That is up to your dealer. Only they can answer that. They don't have to, but most probably would.

Most dealers will refund an easily sold vehicle. If you order an unpopular exclusive color (baby **** green for example) they may try to keep it.

you're right at the tail end of the window to get it there on time, so your timing is spot on

I am outside of Philly, but can easily help you out on an order, or an in-bound 2018. We also just received a 2018 2.0 the other day.
