What is the procedure to desiable Sart&Stop with VAG-COM on A4 B9 ?

Just fyi, I was told by my service manager that disabling the stop/start feature would void the warranty on the car. My dealer would absolutely not disable it altho they did so on an A7 I had about 4 years ago. He said the rules have changed at AofA.

That said, I just turn it off on the dash each time I start...it has become so automatic after starting the car, I don't even notice it anymore.

Or,put it back before you bring it in to the dealer. Dealers love putting false fears in to owners, it's just BS and so many fall for it.

RickObe found a way in OBDEleven to work around the start/stop. It works great. Not sure if it will work for your A4. Here is his post.

For what 99 % of people want yes it is pretty cool! for the more tech guys VAG is the way to go ! I don't think they have anything yet for the Q7
