My experience in metro-Detroit back in May, and looking for a Prestige Orca Black, was that I was only able to get $500 off MSRP. There were no Prestiges to be had, and the one I finally got had to be trailered from Ohio. And the dealer had to trade a Prestige that the owner was going to be driving.
I knew going into it that I would probably get hosed relative to waiting for a few months. On the other hand, I've been driving it for two months, and the dealer gave me $17,000 for my six year old Subaru Outback. That's well above what I was quoted elsewhere. So, in terms of total cost of the transaction, I walked away happy.

For those in the U.S., has anyone utilized the Audi Club of North America member benefit of buying an Audi at 6% below MSRP provided you've been a member for at least six months? Also, it says it must be a participating dealer. Is there a list of participating dealers? The purchase discount is the only one I'd utilize as a member.
Edit: I just found on the Audi Club website that the discount excludes RS5 Coupe and Cabriolet, Audi Q5 Hybrid, RS7, Audi Q7 (MY17), A8 W12, S8 Plus and R8.
Would be interested to know whether the discount has worked for folks on any eligible vehicles or whether their local dealers weren't participating.

Have been lurking for a while, and finally got a lease deal I felt I couldn't pass up on.
Black/black Premium plus, vision package, warm weather package, 20 inch rims, tow for $0 down/$0 drive off, $729+ tax. Happy days!

My dealer here in Chicago didn't offer any discount until I was able to get an offer for an e-price deal from a different dealer, less about $1100 for a Q7 Prestige. Although the original vehicle was gone, they still offered the same discount on an ordered Q7.
