Interior Door Trim Fading
I have a '17 Q7 with brown leather interior and the door trim pieces on all four doors are fading. The black trim at the top and the brown armrest are showing lots of wear after only 2 years. The brown leather in between looks just fine. Has anyone else experienced this?

That's the single advantage of Audi's plastic top trim I would think. Mine appears to be pretty resistant to wear and fading. In my X5, the leather top trim was very susceptible to lotions, creams, sweat, etc. on your arm, as was the leather armrest. I always use a protectant like a good leather conditioner on the leather and a protectant on the plastic like 303. Body chemistry is different for everyone, and if you put your bare arm on an unprotected surface you may see changes in the material. Otherwise Audi's materials don't seem to be any different than any other car i've owned.

I remember reading here some brown interiors had issues with the dye coming off on the side of the front seats...AOA replaced the seat covers
