Interior Trim - Inlays
I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I'm a bit sad that Audi chose not to offer the brushed aluminum option for the upper inlay. The black high-gloss trim, in my experience, is difficult to maintain, and I have to admit that I'm a bit OCD (dust, fingerprints, scratches drive me nuts). I currently have a Graphite Gray Q7 on order with the Cedar Brown / Grey Oak interior combination, but I'm having some second thoughts.
I love the idea of Brushed Aluminum / Layered Walnut inlay combination, as I think it would really jazz up the interior.
A couple questions for you guys:
1) This would require retrofitting the aluminum trim after delivery. Anyone have access to the Audi parts catalog and can tell me approximately how much the aluminum upper inlays would cost?
2) What leather color goes best with the Layered Walnut? As much as I love Cedar Brown, I'm worried that it might clash with the Layered Walnut -- not similar enough but also not enough contrast. If not black leather, what would you choose?
Thanks!!!!
Nick
