Just bought a 2018 Q7 - What should I do first?
Hello All,
I recently pulled the trigger on a 2018 Audi Q7. This was the first large web forum that I came across. The car was bought to upgrade my wife from her 2011 Acura MDX.
Are there any initial mods that are commonly done by owners to improve the vehicle? For example, back in the day, the first thing people would do for vehicles would be to improve airflow and air filter - this might be outdated as I did it on my 2002 Trans Am :-P. My daily driver is a 2018 BMW M5 so I'm not looking to make the Q7 a racecar. I'm more interested in tasteful mods that will improve the interior (nifty storage compartments, cell phone holders, lighting, convenience mods, etc.) or improve the performance without going too crazy (I purchased CPO and want to maintain the warranty). The car is white with black interior.
Thanks in advance and I look forward to reading and posting.

Congrats on the Q7 and welcome to AW.. From what I have read a lot of members do suspension mods, some change out the wheels, some powder coat their OEM wheels...Research the forum and you'll get a lot of different ideas...

get yourself obdeleven:
- turn off the seatbelt chime
- increase the trunk release delay
- enable unlock w/engine running
check your tire inflation -- some come overinflated from factory

Not necessarily - I'm at 15,000 miles on the Goodyears and have 9 or 10/32 left on all 4 tires, and they look in very good condition. Mix of city and long distance driving, and quite sporty driver.
YMMV
