Just pulled the trigger!
placed my order today.
The online order system shows "Actual production week" as 2116 (week 21) and ETA is July.
Argus brown metallic, black interior, prestige, nearly loaded except night vision and B&O. MSRP is $81,150 and got 3% off discount without any begging (perhaps I should have asked for more lol). Not as good as the Audi club discount which can no longer be applied, but good enough and I'm happy.
Looking forward to getting this thing! We are trading in the SQ5 to have more room for the growing kids.

Q7 Tire Wear
Hi,
I am interested in getting 2017 Q7. Heard horror stories of brake pads and tire wears every 20K miles or so. Not sure if this issues is an old one or continues to current models. Please share your experience. Do not personally anyone who owns Q7.
Please also mention your model year, wheel size and how many mile you typically get from it. I drive normally and mostly highway driving.
Thanks!!!!

I previously was looking at the first generation Q7 and my salesperson said her daughter had one and had those issues, stay away. So I did and waited for the 2017.

On my 2012 Q7 (now 67,500 mi), I got 34K on the factory tires. Then got 28K on Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires. Have fairly new Continental Extreme Contact on it now. I got 38K on the factory brakes. Still have some wear left on the new ones with 29.5 on them. That is with a fair number of highway miles, but also live in Western PA so constantly on hills.
