Lane keeping warning: keep hands on steering

If the road you are driving on isn't smooth as glass, the wheel will jiggle a bit giving you "more time" before the warning kicks in. On my SQ5, I played with the setting for the warning, but saw no change (perhaps disabled in the newer vehicles). It's always 10-15 seconds depending on road conditions (that's me counting it off in my mind). I've had up to 25 seconds if the road surface isn't smooth.

I received my Prestige Samurai Gray Q7 with DAP and night vision approximately two weeks ago. During delivery my wife and I met with the technologist for almost two hours and I questioned him about the sensors being responsive to torque or touch. He stated that he used to believe that it was torque, but has since learned that it was touch. I haven't driven the car enough to make a determination myself, but the consensus here seems to be torque. But the dealer "expert" says touch. So who knows??

Empirical evidence says "torque" for me. A light touch will always yield a warning, but yanking on the steering wheel periodically is enough to make it think I'm driving the car.
