Cause most people only visit forums when something is wrong and they need help or answers. That's why issues like this can seem prevalent because the community is self-selecting problem cars.

It would be great if folks stayed and helped others after the problems are solved but that isn't typically the case. :-(

That could be a part of it, but not all of it.

My nougat brown driver seat cover was replaced mid December under warranty by Audi. It been a month and it's holding up reasonably well.

Apology! Wasn't intentional, preoccupied with other things and the seat cover did get replaced until 12/19/2016.

Thanks...how is the fit? Is there any play or a gap between the leather on the center top of the cushion and the padding below, or is it snug/flush with the padding? Any wrinkles in the new cover?

The fit is snug and flush. I dont see any play or gaps. No specific wrinkles either. It looks and feels factory quality.

My replacement done last February has begun to do the same thing. Service made a note and took photos, sent them to Audi. They were going to just keep me posted. I don't want it replaced yet as it is not really that bad.

probably replaced it with a cover that also wasn't properly dyed...if there's no updated part # then just as it's happening to you again, the problem will continue...do you have prestg w/lux?
