Did someone just spend time making a video about driving down a gravel road?

The Fast Lane review all kinds of vehicles. They were going to take up the hill but they didnt have the proper tires on so they decided to drive it in that flooded/muddy environment. Testimony to some of Q7 off path capability to those who are curious

My point is - this is the kind of stuff you video a luxury SUV doing.

They were on a wet gravel road. I wouldn't hesitate to take a 2wd on that.

That said- I did get off onto a wet field this weekend moving a 4K pound trailer into storage and the Audi did just fine.

Kind of disappointing they didn't try to be more aggressive with it. Let's see some 3 wheel hill action. They say in beginning that the vehicle had summer tires, then they zoom in later and they show shot of all-season tires (I think I am correct). Not aggressive enough tires for offroad?

Yeah I found those two lazy in their critique of the Q7. They even mentioned that it was a turbo engine.

There are youtubes of the Q7 tackling off road boulders and steep sand hills out there too.

Agree this review is disappointing. Generally, their reviews are informative and interesting. This one had 6 points and didn't show the car doing much of anything.

If you know you are going to take the car off-road, why not have proper tires. The fact that they go off-road generally makes their reviews more intersting

I think a Toyota RAV4 can handle that route they tested the Q7 in the video.
