I noticed something interesting while checking out the new Q7. Looking through the front grill I noticed that the front of the rad is covered in louvers (that were closed). I have never seen this on a car, sure, large rigs have this (generally on the outside of the grill) to keep the coolant temperature warm when very cold but not sure I get why a care would have this.
