Default Need Some Help With Lease Numbers

Hey everyone. So my lease on the 2017 Q7 3.0T is coming up, and I’m shopping around already. My wife drives this car, and she wants to get back into another Q7. I have had a couple of NJ dealers put together numbers for me, on a Q7 2.0t, with a msrp of 63k. The terms are 36mo, 10k miles a year at $822/mo, with 822 down. I think this might be an okay deal, but my current Q7 has a msrp of 68k and my lease is exactly that amount. Just having a hard time leasing a car that costs 6k less than my current car, for the same money. I know the lease numbers change, but I wanted some feedback on what others are paying and what seems to be the norm. Any help is appreciated. I have two appointments tomorrow. One is at my Audi dealer, to look at the car and talk more numbers, and the other appointment is at my Porsche dealer, as I am trying to convince my wife to get into a Cayenne for a little more a month. Thanks guys.

That seems a little high, but your down payment is really low - not sure what you put down on your Q, but this could explain the similarity in payment - but also, if your Q is a 3.0 it will be worth more at the end of the lease, hence a lower payment.

Just guesses based on the info you provided.

Does seem a bit high. My current Q7, put down 822, basically my first month payment, leased for 39mo, 12k a year at 822/mo. That seemed like a decent deal on a 68k msrp. I’m just wondering what others are paying for these cars. The two dealers I have spoken with, seem to be replicating my current deal, , with one of those dealers being my dealer for the last 11 years, and 4 cars from them.

Look into the new X5, bmw lease offers are MUCH better than audi. And it's arguably a better car in some aspects, today

If by the time you jump in a new lease the facelift 2020 Q7s are out, then you would want to test drive both.
