new Q7 basic premium with a few add ons
loving the new q7. pretty basic but has just the right amount of options.
wanted the bigger engine so went with bigger engine less options. but coming from my 2014 q7 premium plus still feels like an upgrade.
just painted the rims, tinted windows and added running boards.
now just debating on the ceramic coat as black paint is a mother to keep clean.

Are these the running boards by chance: running board side step Nerf bar fit for Audi Q7 2016 2017 Premium/Plus/Prestige | eBay
What'd cost you to get them put on?

yes those are the ones. had to first find a dealer that didn't mind installing as they aren't audi oem. so downtown la audi installed they charged roughly 600/700 install. but i also had them install the oem tow package which cost an arm and a leg :0.

Ok, hmmm I'd consider it for a $1k, but my dealer told me $2100 (although they said that included the labor and the audi boards which I think about $1600 was the cheapest I saw them for)
I think it'd make ingress/egress easier for the kids, and if I ever get a roof rack (strong possibity) access for that.
Thanks for the data.

we have 3 kids and was a factor with the little one. he uses the boards to get in and out. works well. the oem boards are like a 1k each board a bit crazy. i like these they do the job.

Those running boards are very nice.
The rims are sweet. How do they get "painted"? I'm not very in tune with custom stuff, so just wondering what the process is?
