Default New Q7 owner

Hey guys,

Expecting my 2017 Q7 Technik sometime in May. First time Audi owner, current have a 2013 328.

Just have a few questions before I take delivery:
- should i replace the mat that com with the car with the weathertech ones?
- what are your thoughts on Xpel vs SunTek ppf?
- Audi care and extended warranty worth it? We did purchase the car.

Thanks!

--> if you live in a place with Winter then absolutely YES!!!

--> CHEAPER than paying for the service through Dealership.. Get it if you plan to get your car service by AUDI!!!

Go for the weathertech floor mats! Well worth it and looks very good compared to the OEM ones.

Audi care is worth it, didn't get the extended warranty though. I'm thinking to get that via Geico but still have time to review.

I didn't get the extended warranty as well. Finance guy was really pushing it down my throat and when I told him I planned on going with the MBI through Geico he told me that wasn't a warranty. I read reviews and the fine print I think the MBI is a good deal.

I've got SunTek on a car, and looks great. Some say SunTek looks better on darker cars, and XPEL on lighter colors. Their warranties are different and one is suing the other, if that matters to you. Don't believe too much hype on self-healing claims, but I can tell where mine has taken a few rock strikes and seems to be protecting the paint.

I'll prob get something on the incoming silver Q7. Most likely on the hood, front bumper and below the quattro stripe on the sides.

You should also check out Stek... Their product is newer on the market but my shop swears by it (used to be an Xpel shop).

Thanks guys for the feedback so far.

The dealer would do Suntek, but a shop in town does Xpel. I haven't gotten any pricing from the dealer, but I'm pretty sure they will be expensive. The colour of the car is Daytona Grey.

I can't remember what it was called, but there is an option to get some paint. windshield, tire protection. Did any of you guys do that? I got the HUD, so perhaps that's worth it for the windshield?

my rule of thumb other than the Audi care package, everything else from the dealers is a rip-off..
