I didnt say it was fair, its a starting point. Also VAG knows that there is a huge pent up demand for these, so yes, they can charge a premium. Apparently these have all sold within days....
When I was shopping for SUVs (in the middle of the scandal), and when all VAG diesels were taken off the market, I was at a Porsche dealer test driving a Cayenne. Really wanted a diesel but he said that he would put me on a wait list for one of the 8 diesels they had taken off the market, Apparently I would have been number 11. So yeah, Audi can charge more than they are worth,

For some, the extended warranty, the fact that it was never titled before, and favorable finance terms, combined with the extra loyalty discount still honored for current late model Audi owners, made it worthwhile. The price is what it is...some people will find it more than favorable, some won't - like everything else in life. Most of my inventory had deposits on it going back 2 years...and those people could not wait to get the vehicle. The rest, the first person they were showed to, bought them. Just wrapped up my last A6 deal today, and now I have 1 Q5 and 1 A8 TDI left. Some people don't want a used car...even a used car with 20k miles. Others don't care, and want max discount. Like anything, different routes for different people out there.

I think it's time to upgrade to fiber .....
