Does anybody know what the 2019 Audi Q7 phone box is and where it will be located? What size phones it will be able to hold. I am assuming this is for wireless charging? Any pictures would be nice!

Looks like most of these chargers won't accommodate a phone in a case, which is 99% of the phones on the planet. Hopefully they will publish dimensions....

Samsung's charger works fine, why not fit one in the box and put your phone on it?

The center console is already small as it is.. With this thing in there it will be even smaller.. For me i just buy a powerbank with Qi charge and keep it in the center pocket where you should put your dead key fob..

I'm a huge fan of wireless charging and have been using it exclusively since the Note 3. But I don't see the point in the car, especially where it means installing one of these monstrosities. I have to plug the phone in anyway to get Android Auto to work, which charges it.

Wondering if the S9 plus will fit in there. It's a bit shorter than the S8 plus which obviously doesn't fit.

Reading some German posts about it, it's not looking good. It seems the charging cradle is too small for a bunch of phones. Pretty sure my S9+ doesn't fit. I have no idea why they couldn't add an inch to cover virtually all the phones....

Thanks for the feedback. I currently have a 2018 Q7 and was looking for a SUV for my wife and when i saw wireless it caught my eye but i am just not sure how it will work out either because currently the only place where my phone will fit is in the tray where the wireless battery charger is and even at that i still have to angle it with a usb chord attached to it for the apple car play to work. I have a Apple 7 Plus phone.
