These wheels look great but I have never tried Hartman’s before. The offset is down to 29 from 33[oem] though.I would appreciate some input regarding these Hartman’s.

I bought a set of Blizzak DM-V2 tires on machined/black MSW type 48 in size 18" in October. The MSW wheels are well made and actually do look better in real life than on the TR website. The looks of MSW center cups is the only thing that I am not very pleased with about these wheels. A couple of weeks ago I've ordered 69 mm black Audi center cups, but have not received them yet. So, no picture yet.

Here are my 18 msw on the blizzaks. Msw center cap is annoying but I don’t care that much. I’ll have my Audi sport 21s back on again the spring. Plus it’s the winter time so who cares.

Update: I just got my studded Nokian H9 installed. 255/50R20. I am pretty unhappy with just how loud they are. At speeds up to 25 mph, it sounds like making popcorn. Above that, it is just a loud whirl - like I am driving my Hummer H1 again.
The reason why I find this surprising is that I have General Altimax Arctic studded tires on my Sequoia, and am completely fine with the sound, so I am blaming Nokian specifically. I have some latest-generation General Altimax Arctic 12 studded for my A4 that are not on yet, so we will see what I think of those. If those are too loud, then I will cut the Nokian a pass. But if they are quieter like my older Generals, then I will know I just don't like Nokian.
But as of this moment, I regret buying these - unless they just turn out to be incredible in snow and ice.

Sorry to hear about your experience! If studded tires would be allowed in Minnesota, a set Nokian tires would be on top of my list... Is there a chance that one or more tires was installed "in wrong direction". Don't think so, but just trying to find any excuse for such a reputable brand product.

Studded or not
i have used Hakkepellita for many years. On my A8 and most any awd car the R2 is fine. On my RWD Mercedes Sprinter van I use four studded Nokian.if you are mostly on the highway, skip the studded tires.....if rear wheel drive get four studded. Tiresbyweb.com has excellent selection AND pricing on Hakkepellita, give them a try
