There is no fix at the moment. I'm pushing Audi as fast as I can but what will help the most is for people who have issues to bring them in for service.

Thanks, I agree about others getting theirs in, but I personally may wait until there is a dedicated fix(es), as I don't want ours to be a beta tester so to speak.

Of the items listed, how many are there dedicated fixes for?
  • Parking brake malfunction/error
  • Driver's door malfunction/error
  • Drive Assist hands off wheel malfunction
  • Soft close doors not working at times
  • Alarm chirp only works 50% of time
  • Pre-sense malfunction/error

Parking brake-there is a software patch
Driver's door - can be fixed. Mine required a new door module and soft close switch
Drive assist- no info on that one
Soft close doors-no fix at this time
Alarm chirp- no info
Pre-sense no info either. What's the issue?

Soft close doors-no fix at this time Already a few reporting this here in addition to us, so it's most likely widespread and since it's a safety issue Audi should diligently be working on solution
Alarm chirp- no info A few reported this issue here in addition to me, sometimes it works other times not when locking via door handle or fob
Pre-sense no info either. What's the issue? https://www.audiworld.com/forums/q7-mkii-discussion-211/pre-sense-error-2943243/

See above, thx

This is normal if the system doesn't sense any counter torque in the steering wheel you will get this message. The car doesn't sense if your hands are on the wheel, it senses if you're steering (or attempting) so if you hold your hands perfectly still and don't need to turn the wheel you'll get the message, if you just tug at the steering and it goes away, that is the fix. I've gotten the message a few times on straight roads, don't worry about it.
