Has anyone tried to dim the the default brightness of the virtual cockpit? I find the gauges too bright at night. I saw coding posted for Q5 but not sure if it would be the same...

There is small **** next to headlight mode switch which you press to protrude, and rotate right and left to adjust brightness of all screens and illuminations within the cabin. Never heard of software adjustment of VC and other screens

I actually have a Q8 and they got rid of this pop out ****. Someone posted the coding for dimming the VC in this Q5 thread below, was wondering if anyone had tried this for Q7...

Hello, does anyone have the security access code for A5 adaptation? I’ve tried 20103 and it isn’t working. I am currently locked out for 30 minutes. Trying to finish up the adaptation for Active Lane Assist. TIA

This is from my notes: try these other ones.

Security codes
09 - Central Electrics: 20113
13 - Auto Distance Regulation: 20103
6D - Trunk Electric: 12345

Thank you. I’ll give it a shot in about 30 mins and report back.

So, I used both codes and it doesn’t work. I put in 20103 and hit search after a few minutes I cancelled it and it logged me in? Anyways it works now. Thanks

Default No AC module OBDEleven for Q8???

Old value: 5
New value: 0

This tricks the system into never activating the start/stop as long as the HVAC system is not turned all the way off. If you do turn the HVAC all the way off, you will sometimes get a momentary engine stop and immediate restart. But who ever turns the HVAC all the way off these days?
Just received my OBDEleven Pro...all changes went well. My main reason for purchasing it was to be able to access the AC module to disable the annoying and dangerous SS. My modules skip from 6 to 9 so no AC available to change parameters?? HELP. THX

Wrong forum, use the Audi Q8 OBDEleven forum, and it looks like the workaround hasn't been found yet.
