SYMAWD -
Quick question for you. I heard that cars that are marked sold do not get put on trains, they are put right on a truck for delivery to the dealer. This is done supposedly to get the car to the dealer quicker for customer satisfaction (and probably to get the sale on the books faster). Cars for inventory are placed on trains and then put on truck when they get to the delivery point. Is there any validity to this?
Thanks

I hope this is not the case because SYMAWD said mine is due to go on a train after it arrives in Houston. I can't wait to hear his answer, I hope my car is marked as "Sold" Is there anyway to verify that the car is marked as "sold" if this effects getting the car to the dealership quicker.

Can you please help me check whether my order COMM # KN8618 was built last week? The production week is 3616, but the Production Complete date is 10/08/2016 (ETA).
Thanks a lot.

Hi SYMAWD,
Put a deposit down on a Q7 Prestige on Saturday. Dealer says it is scheduled to arrive 9/30. Can you check whether that is correct and if it is marked as sold? Comm # is KV7164 (or KU7164- can't tell from the salesman's handwriting).
Thanks!

Port arrival shows 9/30, so it would be an October delivery.
