My salesperson called and said that my Q7 was built and is on it's way over here now. I told him that was interesting and then asked what boat and he said he was looking into it. I think he's trying to BS me. Could you verify on your side please? Sorry about this, I just trust you and your data more than my dealership. (#KV2478)

I would trust SYMAWD information more than what your dealer tells you. After all I believe they are using the same software to look up orders and dates, etc... Don't think SYMAWD has some special power that gives him more information than what your dealer can get if they cared. I think dealers are lazy and most people just want to know when the car will get here. Not many people are like us where we lurk the forums on a daily basis and wants to know EVERYTHING about everything about an order process, the car, features, etc... We're the rare enthusiasts my friend. My wife thinks I'm crazy for tracking the boat. I think I am crazy too but I'm okay with my craziness!

Funny you say that, my dealer e-mailed me the day after SYMAWD gave me the most recent update and they are weeks behind what SYMAWD has told me. Besides lazy I think they also may not want to tell you exact info as customers may call them out on the days if it's later then they say and start complaining and wanting loaners etc. They may just be giving themself a buffer and be the hero when they call the customer and say "Surprise, it's here early!"
