Default Holding Out for SQ7?

Anyone else holding out for the SQ7 to make it in diesel form to the US? Not sure if I should jump into a Q7 now or wait months (or even years) for the diesel gate to get resolved.

I'm definitely holding out for an SQ7... by buying the new Q7 now so that I can have a better understanding of how I would spec my SQ7 based on experience with on the first go-around

While I'd love to have the tri-turbo V8 TDI that they have in europe, I'd also be fine if they just drop a gas 4.0T V8 in there for our market.

Well if they bring in 4.0T over it should be cheaper considering most of the complexities of the diesel..ie 48 volt system should be left out

Should just drop in the 560hp 4.0t and have a 605hp SQ7 Plus.

I think the real beauty of that diesel engine is the MONSTER amount of torque it generates

They can get 550 ft lbs out the 4.0t I mean it's not 665 and not down at the 1k rpm mark but still nothing to scoff at
