Default Q7 Hybrid

Is there any info/rumors about a 2018 Q7 Hybrid?

Current Q7 e-tron (hybrid) is diesel based. With the dieselgate in US, and the way it all played out, most German automakers said they will pull all diesel vehicles from US, period. Maybe they could mate the 2.0L with a generator, but that would defeat the hybrid appeal (kind of like what lexus did with RX400h). They could also bring their 1.4L hybrid system from A3 e-tron, I'm just not sure if this system is strong enough to pull Q7 weight. Overall it's not looking likely that we would see hybrid Q7 any time soon, especially after latest announcements by Audi that they are going invest heavily into electric only vehicles.

Default if you want a hybrid think Q8

the Q8 is going to be sold and built along side the q7 and I don't know if it will be gaz or diesel but that is the bag audi is putting its marbles in...my bet is gaz at this point...
