Personally, I think active TPMS sucks... especially when the seasons change and the whole system starts claiming one or more of your tires are deflated. I had that system on a couple of BMWs and hated it.

It has been reported here that the 3-zone climate control is lacking the sync function. I've not seen anyone report a way to sync with the 3-zone.

I have the 4-zone system and can report that yes, if the child locks are engaged (driver's door controls), then the 2nd row climate controls are locked out. If you try to use them in this case, a lock icon appears on the display.

my_car_sucks has been my user name on virtually every automotive forum I've ever been on. It all started with my '96 GTI, which truly sucked. Keeping my fingers crossed the Audi doesn't live up to my user name. Coming from an x5 and xc90 lemon I sure hope it doesn't.

I have a '15 X5 5.0 which is a complete monster with direct TPMS and Memory seat function for the passenger (never used) but just got a B9 A4, and the little brother of the Q7 is so much fun I can only image the Q7 is just as fantastic. The X5 is faster than an S4 and has the best throaty gnarl but I end up in my new A4 almost 100% of the time, it is just so much more fun for some reason, steering, VC, interior design? But I think you'll love the Q7, and MMI is so much better than iDrive!
