Default Q7 Now Ready for Winter

Finally found some wheels for the 2017 Q7. Got some Audi A8L, 10 Double Spoke rims from a friend and mounted on 275-45-20 Blizzaks from my 2010 Q7. Everything is working well.

20x9 wheels
5x112 bolt pattern
37 offset
66.5mm hub
M14 x 1.5 threaded lug bolts

I just hate driving with All Season tires in Snow Country. Spirited driver and AS tires just don’t give me confidence in snow storms/blizzards.

Also ready for winter.. went with 19" but found a rim similar to sq7.. it's a DAI R104 it's unfortunately the only size they have may have went 20 otherwise. Here's an example link of it DAI Replica R104 (Painted/Dark Gunmetal) Wheel | 1010Tires.com Online Wheel and Tire Store

I wanted to reuse my OE 2012 Q7 18" winter set with Michelin X-Ice tires on (less than 1/32" worn), but as the bolt pattern changed for new generation Q7s - it was not feasible. I've ended up selling the set - to good hands. I firmly believe that the less alloy and the more rubber in winter set is - the better this set is for winter driving. So, I've ordered 18" rims with Blizzaks DM-V2 on them from the Tire Rack and have them installed about three weeks ago. It was a pleasant surprise how nice a ride the Blizzaks offer - perhaps more quiet and smooth than Michelins X-Ice which I've used on my other three vehicles before... Another surprise - I actually do like the rims from the Tire Rack available for this size of tires. They did look fairly mediocre on the web-site, but in real life they match well Orca Black Q7.

I had MSW’s on my list but couldn’t find a good image of the wheels on the Q7. This is a hard car to find complimentary wheels

Nice winter setup stevenpoint. And thanks for the link to 1010Tires. Good store for wheel options

I had had a nice set of Porsche Cayenne 20’s that I used for my Winter Rims on my 2010 Q7 , but with the bolt pattern change from 5x130 to 5x112, they are just sitting in the garage now.
