Hi team. I’ve recently done some pretty significant work to my 2016 q7 4M 3.0 TDI (engine out of the car) and I have one part left I can’t quite find a home for.

I’m quite sure it’s from around the rocker cover area on the right side of the engine as you sit in the car (Australian here…..so right hand drivers side).

I’d be super appreciative if any members might be able to take a few engine bay photos for me, to see if we can locate where this goes? You may need to take the cowling off the top of the engine to get a better view.

Is there any identification on there at all? Stamped number etc?

Not an ideal solution, but if noone can immediately tell, take a walk through the diagrams here and see if you can see it:

Thanks mate. I should have noted that I have already looked through all the diagrams and they do not show the location of the part.
