Q8 Updates
Hi,
I'm looking to sell my 2010 Q7 TDI on the buyback program next fall and buy the new Q8 when it becomes available. Given that this is Car Show season, any new information being provided at the shows, in terms of features and launch dates? Also, since production will be limited initially, what is the best strategy for working with the dealer? Will most put you on a list on a first come first serve basis or do you typically need some kind of connection? Obviously, any negotiation is out the window. Comments from anyone with insight would be appreciated. |
Although this is a Q7 forum, I too have been closely following the Q8 announcements. Its definitely a beautiful vehicle!

No Q8 forum yet but maybe soon. Selling my Q7 TDI to maybe buy this. Will look forward to hearing from those who see it at the upcoming shows....hopefully in Chicago. |
The only other source I found that you didn't list was this one: New 2018 Audi Q8 SUV: First spy shots of new Audi flagship SUV | Auto Express

It has no US release date, will not be at any of the immediate Auto Shows. Q8 is on the horizon, so is the Q2

I had not seen that update before (8 Jan). Thanks! They say it is the same or larger than the Q7. Hard to tell from the pictures.

I cant imagine its bigger based on these pics. I think its sportier, fancier (i.e., A8 interior), and hence more expensive//

There's no way the Q8 is bigger than the Q7, as it only seats 5 passengers.

Article says it will be the largest vehicle in the Q offerings. Hard to imagine... |
