Default Rear cargo cover?

My Prestige didn't come with a rear cargo cover. I assumed this would be standard? The owners manual makes no mention of it being optional.

That's is correct, it's a Port Installed option or available from dealers https://parts.audiusa.com/p/Audi_201...4M0061167.html

It can't be used when you use the 3rd row of seats.

I had one in my Expedition. It lasted a few days before it was tossed into the corner of the garage. 9 years later I could not even tell you where the thing is. If it was standard, I would likely try to get the dealer to trade out for floor mats and ditch the cover.

I was looking at the link and saw that they now have the cargo floor mat available. First time I saw that.

Yes, only it does not have cut outs for the seat belts in the 3rd row, thus not correct for North America 7 seaters. There is another thread on this. Too bad. Hopefully the correct one is in the works. I am going Weathertech for now as they offer 2 different custom cargo mats. Either for behind the 2nd row or behind the 3rd row. Prob just get one of each so prepared for any need.

I had the same question and asked the dealer. Basically it is not standard but you can buy one. I did get one for my Prestige since I will never have any reason to use the third row seats. I wanted to cover the luggage area since I plan a lot of road trips.

Get the Weathertech one, it covers the 3rd row while it's down. But it looks like the Audi one is finally available now too, and also covers the 3rd row down.

I think I'll go with a Lloyds type of a carpeted mat once they are available. I'll want one that covers the whole back with the 3rd row folded down, that's the way the Lexus supply's them as a standard option n the GX in which I used to have.
