Rear seat entertainment

I have a Q7 PP 2017
Curious if anybody has installed an aftermarket set up for rear entertainment system? I have searched the forum but can't find anything. Any advice would be appreciated. I find the wifi cost to be costly on a month to month basis.

There is no solution for using RSE with after market set up. I've ended with buying RSE tablets and connecting them over WiFi to a hard disk. Any other solution to me looked very ugly.

You can use IPad anywhere with a dedicated seat attachment but it cannot be connected to RSE

I think the point is you can buy several iPads for less than the cost of the RSE and then you don't have to have kids fighting over the content nor deal with the clunky UI. You can get mounts of amazon too. While it might feel more desirably to have a nice integrated RSE in the car beyond that exact reason I think there's very little reason to do so.
