I don't have a Turbocharger on my Q, I have a Supercharger. You work for a US or EU Audi?

Sigh. And it's under the supercharger on your Q7. All of what the fellow says still applies.

Got recall done today. Now noticing strong fuel smell coming from car. Never had this before. Dealer told me some degree of fuel smell is expected after fuel rails change. Did anyone of you guys have this issue?

I got mine back yesterday and I haven't noticed any fuel smell. The dealer did have the car for 6 days (including weekends) so who knows, maybe the time helped eliminate the smell.

Thanks, my oil change is due in May, I'm going to ask them to do another check.

does this TSB cause high fuel consumption? I used to be able to drive 990km on one tank,

Now I can only drive 560km on one tank, thats 348 miles on one tank of gas

Looking at these posts, I feel better off NOT doing this recall...

I have had no coolant issues, no consumption issues, or any gas smell.
Performing the recall is not the problem, it's who does it...

I'm getting mine done next week so I will report in. The dealer said I could wait for the car. Has anyone else waited? Saw a post that said they had it for 6 days above.

+1
If care is taken it should all go well and there should be very little to no residual fuel odor.
