Replacing Seatbelt webbing

Replacing Seatbelt webbing
Hi Folks,
My son got himself entangled with seat belt so much so that it had to be cut to release him (it was an emergency as it was strangling his abdomen) - Now I am wondering if it is possible to get just the seatbelt webbing replaced instead of the whole retractor + seatbelt?
I am sure that dealer will ask to replace both which would cost me atleast 500 bucks. Any suggestions on how to go about this?

I don't know why the rear seatbelts are so aggressive on Q7. We do get that clicky noise time to time and I know it's trouble because there is no way to release it unless it's retracted in all the way.
In your case, I suppose it wasn't possible to unbuckle but I wonder if having a release button on these tension springs would compromise the integrity of the system?

I was just reading the newspaper over the past weekend and this article reminded me of this thread. I wondered if Audi is one of those who spent more time and money to make back-seat passengers safer by using overly aggressive rear seat pre-tensioner or more more safely positioned belt buckles?
