Default RSE Install

Finally got the RSE installed. System is a Mongoose Q510. Was $1000 AUD installed. Twin "tablet style" monitors with DVD, USB, SD card, hdmi outputs, wireless headphones. I chose not to intergrate into vehicles audio system but can be easily done. Can watch individually or together. Its only a basic setup but seems good so far. Hopefully will keep my 5yr old & 2yr old quiet on trips!

Looks great but what happened to your sunroof? Is it an optical illusion or does your Q not have a sunroof?

Accoring to the currency he used he's in Australia. Notice the steering wheel is on the right? Most other countries don't have the sunroof as standard. Or the 3rd row.

I knew he was outside of the US but I've still never seen a Q without a sunroof.

Yes no sunroof. They are not standard in Australia. Infact not many vehicles have them standard here as it gets too hot here in summer. Have had one before and was a pain in summer..we do get 3rd row seats standard thou.

I noticed the Q7 uses round rods for headrest, unlike the US version which uses square rods.

Default Not worthed for me.

I did look in to it. I have young kids as well but they are already used to playing with an iPad and for a little more then 1000 US $ you can have two iPads mounted there that will give significantly more functionality.

Wow! Why would they be different?

*facepalm*

of all the things he noticed...like the steering wheel on the right side, he asks about the moonroof.

A for effort but still looks tacked on. My kids are old enough so they have their own phones and tablets they bring along on long trips so it's not a tacked on look. I can see this works well for younger kids on long trips.
