You don’t post your location so I will assume that the options are different in Egypt or wherever you live.

I just ordered the above pictured flat bottom steering wheel from Europrice, along with the Perforated Shifter & Silver stitched shifter boot to match. I will post pics once installed!

Did you get it installed?

What does the bottom right button do? Looks like an asterisk. Did your original have the heated function?

That would be the heated steering wheel button

But I thought the flat bottom one doesn’t have heated steering.

So just wanted to get people's take on this.

I inquired about this wheel with EuroPrice.

General understanding is that if you have a heated wheel and are replacing with this one, you'd lose the heated steering function - so would need to code with VCDS that you don't have heated steering and then activate the '*' button, which is a programmable button in the MMI. Potential issues:

- how to program that car doesn't have heated steering
- how to program enabling the '*' button - which is programmable in the MMI
- potential issues with fault codes

If anyone has done this - I'm really curious as to the outcome and also what base steering wheel they're coming from.

This is our third Audi. The first two had s-line packages that came with flat bottom wheels, which we've become accustomed to - both the shape and thickness. I am very tempted to get one as I'm ok without the heated function, but do not want to do so unless it's a seamless transition.
