Scratched my rear bumper sill :(
While unloading a suitcase, I scratched my rear bumper sill. It is noticeable when the rear door is closed. Any advice on what to do? I saw there is a film I could purchase, but I'm guessing you would still see the scratch. Ideally I'd like a solution that would cover my scratch and prevent future ones. My car is white.

Post a photo of the scratch so the paint pros on here can take a look at it...
Installing "ClearBra" after it is scratched is like taking birth control after you're pregnant. The scratch has to be repaired if possible then a protective film installed afterward. The P/N for the OEM film is 4M0061197.
The other possible solution is the protective trim/cover:

Where can I find the protective trim/cover in that photo? I think that's just what I want/need. Thank you!

I had the little film installed and I don't think it's enough coverage.
That will be my round 2 of clear bra installation. I had the whole front end and whole hood clear bra-ed.

They're all over eBay however those are not OEM. I do not know if there is an OEM part, at least I have not seen in it in the NAR catalog.
Yes. I have done it on other vehicles I have owned. If you're not comfortable doing this yourself then do not purchase the film and go to a shop and just have the top half or the entire bumper done.
Unfortunately there isn't a protective film thick enough to protect against undiscerning parallel parkers. It winds up looking worse, almost worse than the bumper acne you see many street parked cars riddled with.
