I know that it is for 2017 Q7, this is same as mine in the back of the car. I just wanted to point out that this will fit EU cars, not sure about US cars.

Also if you buy one, you need to have a compressor in the car as well, as this is a collapsible wheel. When you use it you have to pump it up first.

My car came with a compressor. I think they all do.

EU Q's have an optional rail system in the back as shown in the pic above that we don't have. Every country is different. I believe all Q's sold in India have spares mounted in the back as another example because of the subpar roads there.

I entered my vin number on that site and it couldn't find it btw.

Is the compressor built in or is it separate? If separate, is there a storage space for it?

Separate. It is stored near the subwoofer under the cargo floor.
