Default Spare tire

I've been thinking of getting the new Q7, but I'm also a bit disappointed about not carrying a spare tire. Does anyone know if there is one that is compatible with the Q7 and where I can get it in the US? Thanks!!

The reason it doesn't come with a spare tire is that there is no place to store it.

Again...no room, especially if you get an upgraded stereo system. The subwoofer sits in what might be a tire space. If there was enough room.

Do not need to put it under the rear floor deck. There is plenty of room to place a donut spare in the back (third row down) for a weekend road trip along with a couple of smaller suitcases etc. Now if such a donut size wheel exsists to fit is the question?

There is a thread around with a spare mounted upright in the rear cargo area, it was an option I believe in another country.

I cannot even begin to describe how ugly that is. I have AAA, Road side assistance, and a credit card for a hotel. If all else fails I will just lay my drivers seat down, turn on the heated seat and massage feature and sleep until morning. But, I would not put a spare tire in the back. lol
