Hi,
I am interested in getting a new 7-seater and miss my old S6. Looking at the Audi.de site the SQ7 looks perfect for me and my family combined. Does anyone know if it will be coming to the USA in 2017?

Hello Stefan, although SQ7 was originally due to arrive in the states late this year, timetable has not been confirmed. Once this TDI fiasco settles then they will for sure. I'd imagine by the 3rd quarter we will have more info:

Yeah, thats bad advice. Its pretty clear Diesel is not coming back to the US for VAG.

Following this as I'm on an unofficial list to order the SQ7 with my local dealership. I've also heard rumors that an USA version of the SQ7 will be powered with the twin turbo gas Cayenne S engine. Absolutely love the TDI engine design currently driving my 4th Q7, of which 3 have been TDI

Aren't they coming out with the Q8 shortly. I would expect that car to get an S variant before the Q7 to avoid sales cannibalization for the new model.

Bentley is offering the SQ7 engine in its diesel Bentayga so the power train has been certified for the US.
