Is this the indicator light that Steering Heating is ON, I can't find information in the manual about this. Any information is appreciated. Thanks. What is this light for??

The only message I am aware of is, when you toggle it on/off (button on steering wheel) a message displays in the virtual cockpit. Otherwise, there is no other indicator (aside from a warm steering wheel) to tell you its on.

No that is not it. Its either a light or temp sensor. The heated wheel indicator only comes on when you toggle the on/off switch and appears in the odo

This is not a light or any sort of indicator. It's an infrared temp probe for cabin temperature.

No, as others have mentioned its cabin temperature/light sensor. This is one "small" feature I miss, which my prior BMWs had.

the indicator is the heat you feel from your fingers. thats enough for me and I am guessing for most of us

Yeah, first time my wife used it she was looking for an indicator light, but then saw the indicator "pop-up" in the VC when she toggled on / off.
