sunroof whistle
 

I am sure there is another thread on this. Does anyone hear a constant whistle coming from their sunroof when going above 50km per hour? any solutions so far ?

Do you hear it from the sunroof or from the B pillar vent? I hear a whistle at speed through the ventilation.

My whistle noise comes from the driver side window.

A piece of painters tape will confirm this. That's what I did. Had a rattle in the run roof, replaced frame under extended warranty, rattle gone...but now a high pitch whistle, I covered the front with a piece of painters tape, the blue stuff. Whistle gone. Now to convince the stealer that is were the issue is. My gut feeling is that the leading edge of the glass is 1 - 2mm too low creating a perfectly shaped whistle.

SCORE!! I was right, the leading edge of the glass was a few millimeters below the top of the rubber molding and back about 2 mm. Creating the perfect form for a whistle. Dealer made an adjustment to raise the glass and bring it forward to make the gap very close to zero. Net result, no whistle at any speed, don't ask how high I tested it at, it'd be an admission of guilt. �� I do apologize for not taking before pictures but I can add after ones if so desired.
