After comparing everything went with OEM bars and cargo box and couldn’t be happier. Ended up being only slightly more expensive. The look great and the box is beautiful especially that it matches the vehicle.

OEM ist perfekt!

Know this is an old site but would like to ask which company you purchased your Q7 bars.
Thanks

I ended up going with the OEM's from Audi and they installed them. They're really good looking, still whistle a bit, but thats expected. Very happy I went with them.

If you have the BOP, then you’ll want the Thules as OEM are not available in black, where the Thules are.

https://www.rackoutfitters.com/audi-...oof-rack-2017/

call up rack outfitters and ask for a discount they should throw 10% at you.
i would get the lock kit off of amazon... cheaper than anywhere else and one of the easiest things to install once you get the bars on.

also, if you plan on getting a thule cargo box, not a bad idea to buy a bigger one key lock core set so you can use the same key for everything and not worry about it... just my $0.02
