Tire Pressure Monitor

Hi All,

Hope all is well. Yesterday I got a "Loss of pressure" warning pop up on my dash. Unfortunately nothing more than that.

Does anyone know if the Q7 indicates which tire(s) are low?
It would be nice if there was some indication on which tire might be low - like the BMW I own.

Thanks!

Unfortunately Q7's TPMS does not show you which tire is losing pressure.

I had the same warning once last year, and it took me a while to hunt down the tire that was losing pressure. The tire had a nail in the edge of the wall and could not be fixed, so it had to be replaced.

It is inconvenient, but the system works.

That sucks! Even TPMS that dont give the actual pressure, will tell you which tire it is. What year is this? 2000??

Funny how some features are useless

yeah that kinda crappy...even my chevy cobalt lets me know which tires is soft

German auto makers amaze me. This screw you on the little things

That is annoying! I don't know why the storage space is so poor. I watched a review of the A5 Sportback last night and they pulled a fairly large water bottle out of the dash storage under the steering wheel. We don't even have one to put a few coins in!

On my Q7 it notified me which tire was low when I took a nail in the passenger front tire.

My 2017 Q7 is an early 2016 build (bought it March 2016), I just looked at my owner's manual, it does say only a message is displayed. However when I looked at the online manual with a current Q7 build (I copied a VIN from a dealer's web inventory), it says it will indicate which tire is losing pressure.

It sucks that the early build does not have this.

My Q7 was an August build and has the updated MMI software.
