yes, you are correct, it does have tpms, but not in the traditional sense I was thinking of, not on the individual tires and it requires u to move for it to detect changes.

I had one flat where the car was parked overnight in a garage and the sensor didn’t pick it up because the tires weren’t moving fast. I only saw it when the valet pulled the car out and it was almost flat. No alarms.

i’ve also had all the tires deflate at the same rate, below 30psi and the Audi system didn’t pick it up.

i would have wished the car would have a per tire pressure monitor. On top of this, my dealer has never checked for tire pressure after every service.

Where it does work is when I was on a highway doing 60+ and picked up a nail, that it immediately detected.
