Tires getting louder?

Might also check the valve stems - just got my car back from the 10k service, and I always check everything afterwards. Only thing holding air in the rear driver's side tire was the valve stem cap screwed on tight. When removed, constantly leaked; tightened the valve core (the spring-loaded thingy inside the valve stem), leak stopped. I checked the rest of them and all were loose, as they were on my spouse's Q - never checked from the factory (if you replace or tighten the core, just snug it up - it's easy to strip the threads - and if you replace it wear safety glasses, because it will depart the valve stem vigorously when you completely unscrew it). I check them all routinely now - a valve core wrench is cheap insurance.

I would expect that somebody who knows what they are doing would properly diagnose it and realize that the alignment must be off, but as it goes with skilled technicians, they do not grow on trees. Always best to be informed and question their work.
4400 lbs of car will do that.

I picked the number up from the model homepage on audiusa.com. Didn't read carefully enough and thought it was the curb weight. To get all the right numbers you have to drill into the specs for all the trims. Point is, it's a heavy machine that will eat tires and any issues with suspension etc. are just that much more compounded by all that weight.

I didn't have an alignment issue. All my tires have worn evenly, rotated once and just short of 16k miles now. No feathering or anything else odd. Just wearing faster than I expected. I've never had to put air in them except when one had a hole patched.
20" pirelli scorpions.
20" pirelli scorpions.
Anyone knows if Conti or Michelin are coming out with a RF for this size / dimension ? Rather not have Non-RF's as i drive on open roads Early or Late at time's
I had heard Good Years are not much better
Thoughts ?

I also have Pirelli's RF 20's and started to hear a rhythmic sound at 13k. The line service managers in two locations drove the car with me stated its the Tire not my car. One location brought me into the back and should me the alignment on my car was perfect - Post force balancing. and... i rotated the tires every 5 k
