I just noticed today that the online Q7 manual has been updated. It now has a May 2016 date. I haven't had a chance to see what changed but I can tell that there are changes. For example, the Supported Media and File Formats section used to be on two facing pages, now they are on back to back pages.

I think they added the Activating Automatically (Parking Sensors) on page 140. I believe this is for the front sensors. Not sure about any other changes.

Also looks like Traffic Light Information was added on page 191.

I wonder if the version of online owners manual is based on the entered VIN. Using the VIN of my April built Q7 results in the manual labeled 4M0012721BA 11.2015 to be available. I am guessing its version date is Nov 2015. Page 140 of this manual is about parking cameras and not front sensors. And page 191 is still about WiFi hotspots.

I guess the manual is based on the VIN. But when I first got my VIN I got the November 2015 manual. I took delivery yesterday and went to look something up last night and saw the May 2016 version.

I just looked as well. Delivery in January 2016 and my manual also shows the 11.2015 date. To be honest I am very put out by the fact that in a new vehicle that those that bought in the first 6 months do not have access to the newer features. It leaves a sour taste in my mouth about owing this Audi.

I feel your pain. Same thing happened to me when I purchased a 2014 X3 BMW. Ordered it the first week it was available to order. Took delivery on April 20th. then BMW made changes for builds starting in June. Features I really liked. Could not get them to upgrade and they still will not. Lesson learned for me was to wait for about 6 months before ordering a new model year.
