I see a lot of the PP+ that I'm looking at (I want vision and DAP for sure), have upgraded wheels in them.

Do they anything? Or is it just a wasted extra grand?

I assume you mean the 10 spoke bicolor 20" wheels? Most P+ have them as the 19" wheels are pretty plain and to most people do not look as good as the 20s. Unfortunately, all the wheels options for the Q7 in the US are pretty blah overall.

yeah, is it just a cosmetic thing? Because honestly, I couldn't care less how the wheels look, and it's certainly not worth a grand to me

The stock 21" is great for a $1k upgrade from prestige. You have to think about how well these wheels are made. They are built very well vs something like the ebay replicas. Honestly, I think 21" is not big enough for the Q7. I am going to use the 21" as winter setup.

It also looks like the 21 inch come with summer instead if all season in norcal, which is a pin size center I ski a lot
