Anyone figure out the following:
- Disable 'wink' on turn signal
- Disable headlight washers
- Start in ADS mode, i.e. if ADS selected is 'dynamic', when stopping and restarting car it starts in 'S', as opposed to 'D'
Had the above sorted out on our 2014 Q5 and would like to implement the same on our 2018 Q7.
TIA.
I've searched and will try these (not yet confirmed - need to borrow stuff from my bro-in-law):
VCDS:
Disable LED 'wink' on turn signal
[09 – Cent. Elect.] [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 3
Bit 2 - LEDs remain at full brightness with parking lights (1 = active)
OBD Eleven:
Deactivate headlight washers
1) Select Central Electrics
2) Select Coding
3) Scroll down the very long list until you find Scheinwerferreinigungslage
4) Change to not installed (default is 'installed')
5) Press the green tick to confirm
The headlight washer should be disabled
The only thing I want to figure out now (pending above works) is how to have car start in the last ADS mode at shutdown. Any input would be appreciated. Here is the coding I used for my Q5 and former A4 (both facelifts):
Start in ADS mode
(09 - Cent. Elect.) (Security Access - 10) (Adaptation 10)
Channel 64 - Stored Value = 218 = Starting mode is always D
Optional values with what they do; more control is always good!
Channel 64 - New Value = 00; Starting mode is determined by ADS selection at engine shutdown (Comfort and Auto=D, Dynamic=S, Individual=whatever you pick)
Channel 64 - New Value = 03; Starting mode is always S regardless of ADS selection at engine shutdown (opposite of stock)
Channel 64 - New Value = 11; Starting mode is S with all ADS settings at shutdown except Comfort where it's D
Channel 64 - New Value = 19; Starting mode is S with all ADS settings at shutdown except Auto where it's D
- Disable 'wink' on turn signal
