Default Warranty after lowering

anybody have experience with warranty denials after lowering their vehicle? Just ordered some lowering springs but having second thoughts and won’t do it if it could cause any concerns with warranty claims. I do understand that the suspension won’t be covered, just worried about the rest of the vehicle. Was even thinking of powder coating the drop springs to look like factory and they probably won’t even notice considering it’s just an 1.5” drop 😂

It is illegal for them to deny warranty claims if your modification cannot be proven to be the cause of the issue. If your engine explodes then you will still be covered

I wonder how many dealers would actually pick up that it had been lowered if it’s not a big drop?

Well, install it after your warranty expires.

that’s what I’m thinking, it’ll just look like I have some heavy people in the vehicle

I've never had issues with a dealer not covering non suspension items with aftermarket suspension installed. I have had them make comment about their impact to resolve a sunroof creak but knew that TSB was being done on non-modified cars so was just rolled my eyes and waited for them to perform their inspection.

I have had a dealer tell me that I needed to put my stock wheels back on for them to work on drivetrain noise. That was the most mind boggling convo I had.
